Chung-Ang University’s Central Library of Seoul Campus held 'START + LIB', a large-scale opening event for starting the new semester to welcome students who visit the campus for face-to-face classes. The CAU Central Library of Seoul Campus introduced a book reservation loan machine during summer vacation to make it more convenient for students to use the library. In addition, an Instagram account (@cau_lib) has been opened so that students can communicate with the library more actively and easily. Furthermore, CAU has prepared various events for students who come to the school. 'START + LIB', which was held on September, included a variety of events, such as reading events, seminars, special lectures, and exhibitions. Many events were prepared with the expectation that by participating in these events, students would be able to adjust to school life more easily. Also, this event has attracted more students to the CAU Central Library. Moreover, there are Instagram open events, reading festivals, and book application events prepared by CAU. In early November, thanks to the interest of many students, the 'Library Week' event, celebrating its ninth year in 2022, was held. For more information such as exact dates of each event, you may check out the website of the CAU Central Library of Seoul Campus. The director of the CAU Central Library of Seoul Campus said, "Until now, students have had few opportunities to come to campus due to online classes because of the widespread COVID-19 pandemic. From the second semester of 2022, various events and programs will be conducted as face-to-face classes have been implemented. Please look forward to the events that CAU has prepared!
