From the fall semester of 2020, the Global Community Center (formerly Global Lounge) was suspended due to the COVID-19, but the GCC resumed operations starting September 13^th. The GCC is a space for Chung-Ang University (CAU) students and exchange students to interact and improve their foreign language skills. So, any student at CAU can visit GCC. In GCC, students can practice language by talking with various exchange students at CAU. The GCC operates from 9:00~18:00 on weekdays and it does not operate during lunch time at 12:00~13:00 and weekends. It is located in building 310, B3F, outside the building 310. Students are able to visit the GCC without any reservation, so if students want to visit, they don’t need to prepare anything. In September 2022, the GCC held a game event challenge. This game event was a Jegi, a traditional games in Korea (similar to Hacky Sack in America). With GLAM, the global ambassadors of CAU, many students enjoyed this event and students who won for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd received a prize. In addition, the GCC holds various events.
