Through the “Campus Town Project between Chung-Ang University, Dongjak-gu, and Seoul City”, a part of the Campus Town Project, a park at the back gate of CAU will be created. This park creation process is a project between CAU and Dongjak-gu. Through this, the view of the back gate will be improved and become a pleasant space. Also, it will be prepared for our university members to use. Construction started at the end of October with tree felling. Demolition of old facilities, including soundproof walls and retaining walls at the rear gate, replacement of drainage channels, planting of trees, paving, creating drainage, and the creation of walkways are in progress. The park is developed in the form of a total of five zones. At the entrance, a flower garden with stacked steps will be installed to secure a sense of openness. There is also a natural forest path where students can take a walk around the park. But pay special attention to safety accidents during the construction period since the road near the construction site is narrow and the road is frequented by CAU students.
