Chung-Ang University Industry Academic-Cooperation Foundation (IACF), Korea University, and Kwangwoon University IACF decided to cooperate for the development of digital-oriented ICT technology and convergence fields. Last October, the “Business-Academic Cooperation Agreement Ceremony for Industry-Academic Cooperation in ICT Technology and Convergence” was held in Building 201 of Chung-Ang University's Seoul Campus, hosted by the IACF. This agreement was signed by Chung-Ang University IACF, Korea University IACF, and Kwangwoon University IACF to establish a foundation to lead related fields through ICT technology information sharing and industry-academic cooperation. This is a measure considering the reality that a hyper-connected society is coming due to the rapid development of advanced technologies based on digital transformation, and ICT technology is being applied to all areas of life and industries. In the future, the IACF of the three universities decided to continue cooperation in various fields using the business cooperation agreement. ICT technology-convergence research, information exchange and collaboration, government-private ICT technology-convergence project promotion cooperation, technology development and research-related information exchange, and other ICT technology-convergence-related issues plans will be collected.
