It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

December 25th is Christmas! Whether it is with a lover, family member, or even a stranger, with someone along, at Christmas we can fill our hearts full of warm feelings and happily end the year. There are carols streaming out in the street and people prepare for the next year, by watching Christmas films and enjoying desserts and feasts. For this mellow day, the entire planet is happy and heart warmed. As Koreans, we think of “Christmas in December” as everything is white with snow and hand-freezing cold. However, what about spending Christmas in summer? People in other parts of the world spend Christmas under summer weather and enjoy “Christmas of August” under the passionate and hot sun. To be specific, in New Zealand and Australia, instead of heaters and cocoa, people enjoy beaches and cold beverages. In Vietnam and the Philippines, they decorate glamorous shopping malls with glittering ornaments. Regardless, everything in the world enjoys Christmas with its different charms respectively.
