LINC 3.0 Project Group held 'Hult Prize on Campus Local Competition Demo Day' on January 31st at Chung-Ang University (CAU). This is an international competition to help students develop innovative programs by promoting various measures to solve social problems through business. Hosted by Hult International Business School, this award is a competition in which more than 3,000 university students from 121 countries around the world participate every year, including the UN's Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). The preliminary round was held at CAU. This year's concept of the contest is 'Redesign Fashion', and students participating in the contest can propose a business model that contains social values across all fields, including development, distribution, and organization of various materials that are relevant to fashion. A total of 9 teams applied for participation in this competition, and each team consisted of three to five people. Students who are from other schools were also allowed to participate with up to one person per team. Students who completed the team formation took steps to materialize and grow their ideas while going through mentoring supported by the LINC3.0 project group before the Demo Day. Participants pitched the business model they had prepared through the demo day. As a result of the screening, the first place was provided to the team with the theme of 'Establishing a clothing ecosystem using Circulose, a waste clothing upcycling material, and a clothing platform through interlocking with tree planting programs' They will now go on to compete against selected teams from various countries. The head of the LINC 3.0 project said, “I am grateful that CAU students actively participated in programs to create various ideas that can have a positive impact on the lives of millions. I look forward to seeing CAU students actively participate in international activities like this.”
