'1000-won Breakfast' is a project that provides a high-quality breakfast for 1,000 won to university students who often have a high rate of skipping breakfast. It supports the spread of rice consumption culture and the habit of eating breakfast among young people. In response, the organization is jointly working with universities to provide high-quality breakfasts with rice to college students, reducing the burden of student food expenses. It is intended to help students lead a healthy college life by supporting those who are suffering from the high prices of meals every day. Chung-Ang University (CAU) started to participate in the 1,000 won-breakfast project from May 2nd. In cooperation with Grin, the 65th student council of CAU, not only rice meals, but also 1,000 won breakfast bread is available. CAU plans to operate a 1,000 won-breakfast from May 2nd to November 30th on Seoul Campus, up to 150 meals a day in the cafeteria of Building 308, and Da Vinci Campus, breakfast for 1,000 won, limited to 100 meals a day, in the cafeteria of Building 707.

In addition to the 1,000-won breakfast, 1,000-won breakfast bread is also available, which offers up to 150 sets of coffee and sandwiches a day for 1,000 won from 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the same period. President Park Sang-gue said, "We started the 1,000-won breakfast program to encourage students to eat breakfast. We will provide a full menu of 4 side dishes at a reasonable price, so we hope that students will pay a lot of attention and use it." In fact, on May 2nd, the first day of the implementation, long lines of students waiting to have breakfast lined up on both campuses even before the start of meal distribution, and the prepared meals were all sold out in about an hour. In other words, 1000-won breakfast business is receiving a great response from students.
