Following the favorable response to the "1000 Won Breakfast" project conducted during the first semester, the project is set to expand in the second semester. Starting in May of this year, Chung-Ang University (CAU) implemented the "1000 Won Breakfast" project, offering students breakfast for 1000 won. The project provided breakfast for up to 150 students at the Seoul Campus and 100 students at the Da Vinci Campus for the affordable price of 1000 won. Taking a step further, CAU also launched the "1000 Won Morning Bread" project. A limited quantity of 150 sets of sandwiches and Americano coffees were sold for 1000 won each day. Since its start on May 2nd, the "1000 Won Breakfast" and "1000 Won Morning Bread" projects received great acclaim from students. Over the course of two months, the breakfasts consistently sold out, with students flocking to the dining hall as early as 7:30 AM to enjoy the affordable breakfast. Usually By 8:00 AM, all the prepared meals were sold out. CAU plans to resume the "1000 Won Breakfast" and "1000 Won Morning Bread" projects when the second semester begins, and also aims to expand the scope of the project by introducing the "1000 Won Morning Bread" initiative at the Da Vinci Campus.
