The 57th Mr. & Ms. CAU Competition, hosted by the Chung-Ang University Fitness Club, was held on the 7th at the Building 301, Art Center on the Seoul Campus. The Mr. & Ms. CAU Competition boasts a tradition and history that began with the '1st Mr. CAU,' the first university bodybuilding competition in Korea held in 1965. In addition to acquiring knowledge and social skills, the competition aims to foster awareness of pursuing a healthy life through a healthy body, which is essential for university students. The competition saw the participation of a total of 21 athletes. Five female sports models, five male juniors, and eleven senior male contestants took the stage to showcase their well-honed skills and impressive physiques. After judging regular poses that evaluate muscle development and symmetry, as well as individual posing that assesses artistry, muscularity, and creativity, six winners of the grand prize and three special award recipients were selected. The prestigious title of Mr. & Ms. CAU went to students Kim Sangwoo and Lee Seungmin. Following the main competition, there were also performances by our university alumni bodybuilders. Kim Junho, who achieved the first International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) Pro Card and was the first Korean to make it to the Olympia stage, and Park Myungsoo, who obtained the IFBB Pro Card in July this year, took the stage and electrified the audience. The competition was a huge hit for the students.
