Last month, 'Cafe Dream' stores located in Building 310 (100th Anniversary Hall) and 303 (Law Building) were demolished. According to Kim Dong-wan, head of the Seoul Campus General Affairs Team, Cafe Dream violated the contract by failing to pay rent after its headquarters went bankrupt due to business difficulties, and a third party other than the party that signed the contract with Chung-Ang University operated the store, leading to the eviction. Since the end of October, the coffee franchise brand COFFEENIE has been located on the 6th floor of Building 303 (Law Building) and the 1st floor of Building 310 (100th Anniversary Hall), where Cafe Dream used to be. In addition, 1847, a brunch cafe, opened on the basement floor of the Law Building, alleviating the inconvenience of students who had to stand in line for a long time to buy coffee after Cafe Dream closed. In addition, the two cafes offer a wide variety of bagels, burritos, shaved ice, and more, making it possible to enjoy a more diverse cafe menu.
