The results of '2024 Regular Admissions Application' for Chung-Ang University(CAU), which closed at 6 p.m. on the 6th, revealed that 10,676 applicants applied, resulting in a competition rate of 8.88 to 1. With an increase of 322 applicants compared to last year, the competition rate rose from 8.37 to 1 to 8.88 to 1. CAU had previously secured the title of the most applied-to university nationwide for five consecutive years in the early admissions application for the 2024 academic year, which closed in September. In the regular admissions as well, significantly more applicants flocked compared to other major universities in the Seoul metropolitan area, reaffirming its status as the most favored university among test-takers for both early and regular admissions.
